I fell into a deep meditative trance and awoke with tears in my eyes. Thank-you so much. We have waited a long time, patiently, for your next work.”

I’m a songbird from New Zealand, now nesting in the mountains of New York.

I have learned that the inner world of an artist affects the art they create profoundly, and that art profoundly affects the person seeing or hearing it. As the saying goes, we are what we eat. Our minds and souls require even more care.

I’ve spent the majority of my adult life cultivating Truth, Compassion, and Tolerance, principles highlighted in Falun Dafa, a meditation practice from China. In ancient China, music and medicine are considered the same.

Music is divine culture. I want to create music that when you listen to it, when the vibrations enter your body and move you, when it travels through your ears to your heart and soul, it gives you good energy and a meaningful message.

My sound is folk-pop, but I really lean into cinematic folk and Americana, with a deep love for the energy of gospel choirs.

Currently working on production, my first song release is “Search No More” on May 13, 2020 - with an EP to follow. I hope you’ll stay with me to hear each song and welcome them to your beloved music collections.

As a songwriter I work carefully and purposefully on my art. I’ve been playing music since I was a young girl, teaching myself guitar and piano. I started writing my own songs when I studied Audio Engineering in my early 20s back in New Zealand.

I love the sound and style of artists like The Staves, First Aid Kit, Penny & Sparrow, Nick Drake, Ben Harper, and The Civil Wars to name a few, but could never fail to mention classical composers like Bach and Mozart, artists like Maria Callas and Pavarotti, or the current artistic genius of Shen Yun’s orchestral music.
